so that was where i saw this movie, well i didn't see it fully and it's too late now. hallmark isn't airing any more in this part of the world. i'm usually not one to check out new westerns, but i thought this had an interesting casting. i had been watching things on that channel ever since i was a kid, one thing i appreciated about it was the lack of violence, and ofcourse countless of diffrent things i've come across there. funny, it's just gone now after all these years.
on this old battlefield,
what to me didn't seem real,
i almost made the same deal,
a few more miles,
had me realising it out,
i might have found an ugly scene,
sparing my eye from the ugly reality,
things i might could have done,
to prevent more loss on the front,
the grief is yours,
and a consciense may haunt us both,
too common to the misery and death,
died a bit every day,
while saving my own,
my mind missing how i could have prevented more,
didn't even see your eye,
trying not to let the guard down,
and it just goes on the like,
losses on both sides.
