Underage drinking and sex in the movie?

I've noticed after watching this that if you add up the dates between films for when the original Dorsey/Moseley hookup occurred until this film, this means that young Jackie here is only 13! Let's do the math:

Consider the original film was released in 1992, so let's say that she got pregnant immediately after the Olympics (marriage? who cares about THAT). Add 9 months and we've got a baby in sometime in 1993/1994.

1993/1994 to 2006 makes the character of young Jackie ONLY AT BEST 13 years old when this film takes place.

So what's with her drinking wine, and MORE than just a little bit of passion between her and our new skating stud? And let's not forget the nude shower scene she enjoys at his expense...

Parents, consider what you're letting you kids watch... however, pedophiles, this has got to be a wonderful film for YOU.

Thanks, Hollywood, for keep the stereotypes horrible and making it worse and worse for young teens to find any quality movies to enjoy.

Does she look 13 to you? The movie makers didn't ask you to count. It's called artistic license, idiot.

So you CONDONE this sleazy kind of filmamking by your silence?

Now who's the idiot, idiot???

...are you really trying to add real dates (based on the release dates of the films) to explain the ages of the characters within the film? Hollywood can choose how many years pass within movies of a particular series however they choose. They clearly meant for Jackie to be at least 21, old enough to drink and do whatever she chooses.

Not to mention that the actuals actor and actress were in their 20s so claiming this whole "underage drinking/sex" thing is ridiculous and childish. Try finding better movies that promote that than this one. There are plenty of them out there.

I'm not short. I'm height challenged.

Some people take things so seriously.

I'm talking about the commenters, not the OP.
