I bought this back around 2008 probably, a DVD double with it's predecessor. I recall liking it a lot and preferring it over the first one. I rewatched it last night for the first time in some 14 odd years. I can't believe this movie didn't become part of my regular rewatch rotation. It's outstanding.

shareFingers crossed it happens but I'm not getting my hopes up, every second year we get an update saying it's still possibly happening...it's been a long, long wait. I think the latest update was talks that they have a good idea for '28 Years Later'.
Superb franchise thus far.
