On facebook Mock the Week announced Frankie Boyle won't be back on Mock the Week. They also said the new series has been pushed up 6 months and will start in January.
Sad to see him go, but I hope David Mitchell replaces him. Or Ed Byrne.

Thanks mark. I'm gutted I just hope they can get someone good to replace him. Mitchell or Byrne maybe? It won't be the same without him though. I'll have to try and see him on tour one day.

I hope that David Mitchell replaces him as he is probably the funniest recurring guest. I wish it had been Andy Parsons or Russell Howard that had left, I don't think either of them is particularly funny and certainly they are not as funny as Frankie.
