WHO would you like to be ON/OFF the SHOW??

OFF:
- Andy Parsons! Not being mean but enough is enough, send him out to pasture
- No more Nigerian comedians (simply because I can't really relate to their jokes and therefore don't find them funny)
- No more totally unknown comedians (males/females) who simply aren't funny (even if they are cheap)

ON:
- Will Smith
- David Mitchell
- Chris Addison
- Jimmy Carr
- Marcus Brigstocke
- Omid Djalili
- Sarah Millican
- Rufus Hound
- Ed Byrne
- Robert Webb
- Frank Skinner
- Lee Mack
- Frankie Boyle (last but by no means least!)

martinwilliamrandall,
that's one mighty long list! Too long for me to comment on right now, so for the moment I will stick with the OP's wishlist.

I love the OP's suggestion of Will Smith, he is brilliant: writer, stand-up comedian, actor, presenter, musician - anything the man can't do?! David Mitchell should definitely be on, hopefully on a permanent basis! And yes, harsh as it may sound: Andy Parsons sould retire from MTW.

My personal MTW wishlist (in addition to Dara O'Briain and Hugh Dennis):

DAVID MITCHELL (permanent if Frankie Boyle can't be persuaded to return)

WILL SMITH

JIMMY CARR

MARCUS BRIGSTOCKE

FRANKIE BOYLE

JOHN BISHOP

SARAH MILLICAN

CHRIS ADDISON

RUFUS HOUND

ANDREW MAXWELL

PHILL JUPITUS

ED BYRNE

JOHNNY VEGAS

SIMON AMSTELL

We have normality. Anything you can't cope with is your own problem.

Chris Addison - Terribly unfunny

Jack Whitehall - Can't stand the way he delivers his jokes in a poncy way all the time

Russell Howard - Makes the occasional funny comment but still not good enough. Always prone to derailing the current topic and talking about something random, and personal, i.e. something about his gran

Any comic with an ethnic background who relates all their jokes to this ethnic background of theirs

Yep, last night's show hit an all time low. They need to vary the guests up, Milton Jones is on every other week.

Who is that extremely unfunny guy with the longish blonde hair? - he should never be on it again. Didn't even deserve a second chance after his first poor showing.

Russell Howard is making 100 off-topic references about his personal life too many.

That woman may have broken the record for the world's unfunniest woman, which would in fact make her the world's unfunniest human being. As with all other female comics, they just sit there in silence until the stand-up rounds come up.

The show is in a mess.

No it was the guy from last night sitting in Frankie's seat. He had blonde longish hair down to his neck and acts a bit like he's stoned. I think they were meant to have Kielty on it but this guy replaced him. Happily I forget his name.

I only have short lists.

On
---
Andy Parsons - Only reason to watch after Frankie left.
Chris Addison - He's funny enough, but is a bit of a wasted seat because we already have Russell.
Lee Mack - Always funny.
David Mitchell - Snide cynic, a good slot filler for Frankie.
Charlie Brooker - Same as David.
Sean Locke - Has he even been on yet? can't remember. He can be offensively funny, a good filler for Frankie.

OFF
---

Hugh Dennis - He is not funny, at all.
All Women - Except for Victoria Cohen and Sarah Millican.

Lot of dislike for Andy Parsons.
Who I think has improved vastly over each series he has been on.

I like how somebody said they should keep Jo Brand. (Even if it was only ''just'')
She's about as funny as AIDS.

I'd actually keep most of the ''guests.''
I've laughed at Milton Jones, Chris Addison, and Jack Whitehall, quite a lot, Stewart Francis is also great.

OFF
- The deeply unfunny 70s throw-back Micky Flanagan.
- Milton Jones... Bless him. But, he's not suited to a satirical show.
- Stewart Francis.

ON
- David Mitchell.
- Sarah Millican.
- Lee Mack.
- Paul Sinha.
- Bill Bailey.
- Rhod Gilbert.
- Dave Gorman.
- Jeremy Hardy.
- Natalie Haynes.
- Rhys Darby.
- More non-British comedians, like Nik Rabinowitz... I think it's fair to say his appearance on the show wasn't 100% successful. But, I thought it made an interesting change to hear from someone who wasn't from Britain, Ireland, North America or the Antipodes.

reply

OFF: Chris Addison

my heart either jumps or sinks when the names are read out, based on whether he's on or not
such a try-hard, overacts and isn't the least bit funny

reply

Off: Russel howard. rarely funny and takes cheap shots and easy jokes.

On: David Mitchell. master of "angry logic"

reply

ON-
Frankie Boyle
David Mitchell
Charlie Brooker
Milton jones
Andy Parson
Hugh Dennis
Stewart Francis is okay

Off-Chris Addison... absolutely appalling I think I only smiled once with him which makes it so much worse as his now always on.
Sarah Millican
The Nigerian ones
Quite alot of female comedians, I'm sorry but other than Jo Brand who has the occasional self loathing joke I haven't met a funny female comedian really.
Jack Whitehall-I'm quite middle class but even I don't like his personality.
