Chances are, it has been canceled, though they won't officially announce that until they announce the fall schedule. Until then it's on "hiatus" -- a word they use to basicly say, "we're never going to air the rest of the episodes that were filmed." Both "Courting Alex" and "Out of Practice" have been bumped out of their new Wednesday night timeslot and "The Amazing Race" is taking over.
I don't understand people who root for shows to be canceled. If you don't like it, don't watch it -- and don't gloat when it goes off the air. I wasn't a huge fan of either show (they were both terribly mediocre) but I'd rather sit through these two sitcoms than any reality show any day of the week.
