Her performance in another Chabrol film, “Merci pour le chocolat”, is equally wonderful!

She's mesmerizing, period. I've never seen anything or anyone quite like her.

I think her fascination comes from the incredible sense of anticipation she provokes, the question "What will she do next?"--and knowing that it could anything, anything at all.
