2019 Week 11 - Finale (spoilers as usual)

It was cool seeing Ally singing along in the opening number, because why wouldn't she?

Oops! No judges save tonight.

I wish Carrie Ann would spare us the psychoanalysis. Lauren was hilarious insisting on holding up the falling flowers though.

I don't think Kel chose the right dance for his reprise. That cheerleading number doesn't show enough of what he can do. I wish Erin wouldn't try to do impressions of black people. Well, the choice of dance didn't hurt Kel's scores after all.

Ugh, a Bachelor commercial in the middle of the show! Thanks a lot, ABC.

Carrie Ann gave Hannah a 10 when the others gave 9. Did she feel guilty about giving her a hard time previously as shown in the pre-dance package?

Well, that's the last dance we'll be able to enjoy from Ally. Perfect scores again. But does she have the audience support? Especially with no judge save. Sounds dire.

And now American Idol stuff in the middle of the show? What is going on here?

Wow, Lauren got her first 10s -- three of them -- for the freestyle.

Hannah also got her first perfect score for the freestyle.

Cher is coming up. Wonder which one of her songs she will sing. Has been totally missing thus far.

It's funny that Witney doesn't spell her name with an "h", but the British announcer pronounces as if it's there anyway. Some fast dancing from Kel here. Could this put him over the top? Len's right that both of his dances had similarities. Well, a 29 isn't bad.

Ally has 60 at the top. Lauren is at the bottom with 57.

Ah, it's to be The Beat Goes On. Good one for dancing. Cher just seems ageless, though was she lip syncing? Nice touch to put the vintage video of Sonny in the background.

Lauren gets 4th place.
Ally gets 3rd.
Wow, they announced these two so fast and with so little appreciation.
Awkward.
And it's not Kel's night either.
Maybe the Bachelor voters swung it for Hannah. She did have the second highest score for the night, after Ally. Certainly it's a good result for ABC with lots of cross promotion possibilities.

And so ends another spectacular season. We can only hope not the last.
