Not trying to be rude but seeing her cry every week is getting pretty old. She is so dramatic and her little fits of both joy and sadness make me uncomfortable. She sobs when she's happy, when she's upset, pretty much every episode. I'm thinking she's a bit of a quack at this point.

She reminds me of an actress from an old movie where they used to act dramatically. Even throwing her hands up to her forehead like she could faint from the emotion. She is weird.

shareI definitely said to my husband last night "She cries for everything, every week." At first it was sweet and endearing, now it's just like "Pull yourself together woman!" lol it does seem like she's just really happy to be on the show and she really wants to do well.

She's been through hell in her life. Addicted to drugs, bulimia, her grandmother died in a mental institution, prostitution (trading sex for drugs), abortions. ...Her lifelong depression is understandable. I feel sorry for her.
shareWow I never knew all that. I'm not that old but I watched The Brady Bunch a lot as a kid in reruns. I agree Maureen is a little nutty but I find it funny and endearing. I'm rooting for her to last another week.

shareMan, she was and I guess still is my favorite Brady. I think that's why it breaks my heart to know what she's gone through. I couldn't bring myself to buy and read her biography. I guess I didn't want to know the details.
From what I've seen of her on this show, I'm wondering if she struggling with self worth, that along for being so grateful to be on the show.
