Thank you for making it clickable.

I went there to see what folks were saying about tonight's (3/27) episode, and it says it locked comments. Wish people would post here.

No surprise in the elimination.

Weird the way Maks injured himself not doing anything particularly unusual. Wonder what's going on there.

Why did so many try Hip Hop this week? Thought Len was gonna have a connipition fit! Shows why it's important he stay on the show.

I have a feeling Charo won't be around too long this season. Most of the voters are women and I very much doubt that she is appealing to that demographic. Hope they let her actually do a flamenco before she leaves though.

reply

You're right, elimination wasn't a surprise, but Mr. T should go next.

My scores are completely subjective

Nancy/Artem Good - nothing memorable 6.5
Erika/Jeb Ok - don't care for the fake sexy stuff 5.0
Charo/Keo Not good - irritating and she really didn't do much 3.0
Nick/Peta Fine - A bit awkward, but he's trying. 6.0
Heather/Alan Good - but I'm not seeing anything special yet 7.0
Bonner/Sharna Fine - loved the costumes, style, music, but he needs to relax 6.0
Simone/Sasha Very good - lots of talent, just don't care focus on the rear-end 7.5
Chris/Whitney Cute - Fun routine, enjoyed the effort 6.0
Normani/Val Good - again, nothing memorable 6.5
Rashad/Emma Good - smooth, classy, enjoyable to watch, could be my fave 7.5
Mr. T/Kym Not good - Rocky music was ok, but that's it 1.5
David/Lindsay Fun - Points for watching David just enjoy himself 6.5

Did I call Charo or what? Usually I don't get those right. ;)

Next out I suppose will be Mr. T.

reply

You called it! Well done. ; )

reply

Thanks. :)
Who's your pick for next out?
I'm starting to see there are a lot of ringers this time. There's a skater, a gymnast and an actual dancer. Really tough to predict who will win.

reply

I'm with you in thinking Mr. T is next. I don't know how big his fan base is, though. Is Erika popular?
None of the ringers are interesting to me at this point. Nancy had a little more spark last night, but I still don't look forward to her dances. Can't guess who will actually win.
I usually enjoy the "stars" that don't have much experience, but show they can learn (and have fun doing it).
Thought Vegas night would be better. I enjoyed the opening and Nick's dance, but after that, they were kind of dull until the final dance. That was snazzy.

reply

That's a good point I hadn't considered. Mr. T may have a nostalgia base.
Erika is a Real Housewife? I have little awareness of those shows or her role in them.
Another ringer might be Normani Kordei -- as a musical performer, should have great timing and charismatic presentation.
Yes, it's fun when someone really starts improving. Our baseballist seemed to do that this week, though his program seemed carefully crafted to make him look good. That might not be feasible again next week.
I wasn't excited for Vega$ night. My favorite is always "my most significant year" and I wish they hadn't delayed it this long.

reply

I agree with you about Normani. She could be the one with the ball at the end. I'm not familiar with her, or half of the "stars". The only ones I knew were Charo, Mr. T., Chris Kattan, Nancy, and Nick.
Yes, the "most significant year" is usually well done and meaningful. I also look forward to Disney night, but there aren't always good results with that.

reply

I think you knew one more than I did. ;)
Yes, because they're ABC they usually do a good job with Disney night. I remember that two seasons ago or so I thought it was so good that I actually forwarded some video to my brother, who normally never watches the show, but is a big Disney fan.
Say, do you know whatever happened to Tony Dovolani? Did he punch somebody again? ;)

reply

Forgot all about Tony. Did he hit someone?

reply

It was more of a joke, really. :)
In an earlier season they were once talking about the situation in an international dance competition where there were multiple couples on the floor at the same time and another guy ran into Tony's partner and so he punched him. "Isn't that what you're supposed to do?" he asked with a grin.

Actually I did a little web research and it seems that after so many seasons Tony just decided to take a break.

reply

Ah, ok. : )
