Should've been called 'The gypsies of Transylvania'....

As many romanian posters said before we think that Mr. Gatlif made a big mistake giving the title of "Transylvania" to this film. Even if it is not a documentary, however what this movie shows it's definitely not what we call the real region of Transilvania - the western province of Romania. It's just a movie about gypsies in this region and their lives, which might not be very accurate even so...cause even the gypsies have progressed nowadays, not to mention the romanians...

Anyway I liked "Gadjo Dilo" but this is just a pale copy of it. The other two main characters, Rona Hartner and Romain Duris, were far better than Asia Argento and her partener (forgot his name).

I'll check other Gatlif movies cause I see he seems to have an obsession with gypsies in Transylvania but I hope if he ever make another shoot like this again to be more inspired in choosing the title.
