I'm a fan of Marc-Andre Grondin, ever since I saw the movie C.R.A.Z.Y. I really want to see this film, but it hasn't been released in the US. I can, however, purchase it off off of Amazon.ca. It costs CDN$ 25.58 plus $7.99 for shipping. Is it worth it? I just want to see it, not sure if I'd want to own especially for that price. And I'm not a stalker or an obsessed (okay may be slightly obsessed since I'm considering it) fan.

It's one of the weirdest films ever.. It'll leave you breathless. It just turns you upside down so many times you get dizzy. Even though the ratings are poor,, I think it's just as great as Crazy. If you like David Lynch's movies, then buy it. If you don't, maybe you should skip this one.

I thought Crazy was pretty good and I love David Lynch. However I didn't like this film so much. The psychological aspects are seemingly more puzzling than deep, although I must say I didn't take time to fully analyze them. The acting is uneven, weird. This probably won't bother English speaking audiences though, as it's a relatively subtle question of French accent : Some filmmakers in Quebec tend to use "international" French rather the true French accent usually found in Quebec. This is the case here, and it adds a slightly unnatural feel to the acting. Finally the plot is just... extreme and chaotic (not exactly in a Lynchesque way, unfortunately).
