Wait, is Sarah bad?

Okay, well, I didn't really get to see the whole movie, only bits and pieces. I saw the end when Sarah was talking to the little baby and she seemed like she was the bad one? Am I missing something?

reply

Nope, as far as I can tell she isn't "the bad one". See, David was a bossy kind of kid, he always had to have his way. Between Sarah and David, he was the one in control. Now, however, he's a baby and she's his older sister...that's where the "I'm in control now" (Or whatever it was) came from. ^_^

reply

Oh,okay,THANKS!

reply

No problem. ^_^

They were all bad except for Erica is what I got out of it. She so should have staked her sister like a vampire for trying that ghost crap on her.

Nobody was bad. Heather was a grieving mother grasping at a last chance to communicate with her dead son-grief causes people to act differently than they usually would. David was a headstrong child who didn't want to let go of his earthly life. Rosie was doing her best to protect 'her family' but she ended up scaring Erica. Erica in turn is suffering because for the first time in their lives, the twin bond has been severed because of Heather's overwhelming grief and she probably feels (irrationally) guilt because her daughter is alive and she's expecting a new baby.

Saw movie today for first time and i'm not sure it's safe to say "nobody was bad." Heather started out as the "bad" or troubled child. Remember the opening scene where, as children, she let her sister wander toward blindfolded toward the street, never once did she utter a warning or try to save her sister from entering the street. I believe David inherited that malicious streak from her.

I wouldn't agree. Erica and Heather knew that they are connected by thoughts, feelings, some still unknown force. So, Heather doesn't need to say anything, she knows that her thoughts will warn Erica (and it happens!) because probably the sisters have been playing this game many times before.

So, the scene isn't opening the movie to show how "bad" Heather is, but to show how strong are the (known and unknown, explainable and unexplainable) bindings between twins.
