Is this the Lovecraft horror film THE HOST???

I read on Bloody-Disgusting that a Lovecraft-inspired (or adaptation, I can't recall) horror film entitled THE HOST is supposed to either be filming or completed by this director.
Is this the film?
There is no "AKA" or translation.
Please let me know.

I was wondering the same thing. Anyone understand Korean?

This is The Host. I don't speak Korean, but mu friend does, and he assured me that this is the Host. I don't know if its translates to the host exactly, but... whatever. Actually, until recently the CGI guys from lotr and king kong were going to be doing the creature effects for this movies, but backed out due to time constraints with kong. That's a damn shame, cause this movie would have been diamond with those guys doing the effects. I dunno, if you've seen memories of murder, you'd know that this is gonna be diamond anyways. Personally, I'm a huge Lovecraft fan and a huge fan of korean cinema [ lately at least] and I'm dying to see this *beep*

Tarkovsky is the king.

this movie is not The Host. And its nothing about a mutant or creature or whatever. Its called Antarctic Journal, directed by Yim Pil-Sung, and deals about a expedition team trying the reach the P.O.I. in the Antarctic.
The Host on the other hand is directed by Bong Joon-ho and still filming. Just a coincidence that Song Kang-Ho also stars in it. The movies have absolutely nothing in common.

The film seems to have some form of supernatural eeriness to it but more in the form of ghosts of the past, despair and madness. Very much like a lovecraft novel in style but not as in being part of the mythos.

There’s no direct implications that monsters are involves but some minor suggestions in unexplained scenes. You can put it all down to either the simple idea that they go nuts or that there’s something more to the entire situation.

I'd post more information but it would probably lead to spoilers, to put it simply most people will walk away with different theories as to what happened and why.
