GREAT KOREAN MOVIE - DON'T MISS IT

Of all the crappy horror movies that come out of Korea, this was a true gem. Like many of my favorite movies, Blood Rain wasn't a huge commercial success but I place it in my top 20 Korean movie list.

I have to agree. Very underrated. For me its the Korean "Sleepy Hollow".

Excellent visually, but suffers from poor editing. The plot is complicated and the editing makes it incoherent at times. Also, appalling use of classical music makes it a bit of a mess. Cannot be recommended. 2/10

Poor little man. Did you find it too hard to follow? You obviously know as much about classical music as you know about film too, since the music was especially written by two Koreans.

"Cannot be recommended" eh? I recommend that you stick to the cartoons and comics, and leave films that require an IQ higher than room temperature to those who can manage it.

I agree 100%. It's one of the best Korean movies, excellent atmosphere, well executed mystery and the music was fantastic. If that small exhibit of supernatural was avoided it would have been even better, but it's ok as it is. Too bad it's not so well known and it has only been released in DVD, I would love to see this in blu-ray.

If anything, this is one of the best looking Korean movies I have seen in a while.

My life isn't any better than yours.

Agree absolutely (although your post is more than 8 years old!).
Too many cheap, ineffective horror trashes in Korea, this is one to remember.
Pity it under-performed in its release. It's a grown-up, real film.
