Flubs

Frank says his partner was shot with his own gun....but the bullets were OUT of the gun when they killed him. They couldn't be traced to "his gun" if they weren't there to begin with.

One MAJOR flub that still has us scratching our heads over it.... The evil guy just looked at the sister's sketches and sees, get this, HER BROTHER IMPALED on the church steeple. How do we know it's her brother and not him? He's wearing HER BROTHER'S wristbands/bracers. He, the evil guy, knows he'll win because her brother will die as she drew in her pic. Ok, five to seven pics. So what's he do? During the fight, he reaches down and grabs the bands off her bro's wrists and puts them onto his own wrists. Five mins after seeing the pics. Huh?

Wife and I were talking about how many horrible movies, these days, seem to be on the same topic. Group of people get summoned together to fight the greater evil. This was about two weeks back when Desperation came on tv. Stephen King writes so much of that crap, these days, it's pitiful. Charmed, Angel, Buffy, pretty much anything from King, and now this junk.

This movie stunk, plain and simple. It's a 2, nothing more. Even Jeffrey Combs, who's great in his limited role, can't save this.

that's your opinion, a flawed and biased one at that. If you don't like these types of movies then don't watch them and don't come to the forums.

and if you had bothered to pay attention. at first the picture was of her brother impaled. She changed it at the end so it was the bad guy being impaled. Do you not remember the bad guy's speech about how her drawings were causing the events in them to happen and then cole saying she was more powerful.

reply

Not an opinion, idiot. I stated facts.

I *LOVE* these types of movies, as anyone that reads my posts knows. Don't make assumptions based on *your* apparently limited IQ. These forums are to discuss the movies, including the flubs....if that includes opinions other than yours, feel free to *beep* off and die.

***and if you had bothered to pay attention*** none of the previous pics had *ANY* real face in them. If you saw one, it was what you wanted to see. The faces were all left purposely blank/generic because she said she couldn't see them clearly. The *ONLY* real identifying factor was the clear and always present wristbands. The bad guy SAW the wristbands, clearly displayed in each pic, five mins previously, and then intentionally took them and put them onto his own wrists....and that's stupidity.

It also mentions that "He's too ritualistic", about Daniel. Taking the wristband was not only a sign of this characteristic but also a display of his arrogance. He could be considered 'The Devil' Afterall :P. Obviously, he seeks to use her power and believes he cannot be harmed by it.

reply

When Daniel opens up the scetch book he starts flipping backwards if he had flipped 2 pages forward instead of 6 pages backwards he would of seen the only picture with the bracer in it.

Cole carried a number of ritual items chances are the reason he was able too pin Daniel to the gound was some magic connected to the bracer and too a ritualistic person taking some thing from your enemy in personal combat is a true mark of accomplishment.

What would a police review board rule a cops gun has not been fired in at least a week, the shell casings only finger prints are from the victim and the cop on the scene well he does not have any GSR on him? With no witnesses no evidence that makes any sense the hero cop is going to get the benefit of the doubt.

I laughed when Dutch was playing five card draw with Lola and the other guy and they were talking about jail. Dutch gathers up the deck of cards, doesn't shuffle them at all, starts dealing counter clock-wise and he only gives Lola 4 cards. Hilarious!
