One thing that made no sense

Why would somebody spend all those hours and days teaching somebody how to dance just so the person can help you rehearse for something he's not even supposed to be a part of? It wasn't till the end where she decided she wanted him in the audition. Obviously the kid knew how to dance, but not that style of dancing. That's like spending a month teaching somebody how to speak French so they can help you study for your French exam. And was there really not one dancer in the entire school that could lift her like that? You'd think the girl weighed 300 lbs. or something.

Lifting is more about technique than anything else.

I'm not a dancer but I'm sure you have a good point. But that is the very least of the things I mentioned that made little sense to me

reply

Lol yeah, I don't have an answer for the other things, you're right they didnt really make sense.

it probably was a little extreme that absolutely no one was available, but she couldn't find anyone, all the seniors were all busy rehearsing for their stuff, looks like her routine was to extreme or difficult or whatever for freshmen and softmore (i aint american so dunno how to spell your words lol) if you noticed she had to audition them to make sure they could do the steps. and you've also got to want to do it, all those who auditioned to work with her were not asked by her, they chose to, so maybe all the other who were 'too good' didn't want to help her out. After all that searching still no one to work with, he's offered even if its not his area of movement (remember she also saw him doing the a bit of ballet at the car even if it was just taking the mick) so she probably has no choice, little time left, he also dances, so there must be something there even if his area isn't contemporary or ballet. The routine will have to be shown to him somehow once again whether he knows ballet/contemporary or not, so i suppose it helps her rehearse some how. (pay attention to her life, dance is her life, so passionate to become a professional and she wants to do as much as possible to stay away from home cos her mum won't shut up about going to university to study instead of going into the performing arts world) She clearly just wants someone to work with cos she's scared to do it on her own while her partner is away or scared that cos of what happened to him that he won't come back so then again she's on her own, so Tyler is kinda like a back-up in the end as well. Trust, in performing arts you will do ANYTHING in the end to get to where you want to get.
(i waffle so hope that made sense lol)
