WHAT'S UP WITH ALL THE SEQUELS?

There's a Step up 4 coming out..what's the purpose of so many Sequels coming out? If they go thru with it which I know they surely will; will the cast from the last 3 return to reunite in the Franchise?

Twitch was on Ellen the other day, and said they are starting Step Up 5..

apparently Alyson Stoner is in it too? i'm really looking forward to seeing her!

I guess because the director wanted to make more dance movies and people are more likely to see a Step Up sequel than a random dance film.

Even the step up sequels tend to retrend similar storylines but I do think the dancing got more interesting as the films progressed.
