Weird Message in the Ending (spoilers)

Okay, I was watching the movie today on Lifetime and I thought it was interesting, but my impression changed when the identity of Gabe was revealed. I was disturbed that the guy was actually a person who worked for WebWatchers to stop those sites, especially when the whole point in the end seemed to be trust the cops and they'll get the bad guys. But here the bad guy was a person who was supposed to keep bad things from happening to the girls. Compaired to Gabe, Malcom came off as "still sick but not as bad" and that's just wrong. What kind of message is that saying? It's like Mia would have been safer with Malcom than if she had never contacted WebWatchers! Of corse Gabe could have still stalked her but having her contact him at his job probably made him want to hurt her more. Oh, and also Simone told Mia that with a restraining order her Gabe problem was over which makes me wonder how he could work for WebWatchers with a record like that.

Anyway, the very last few seconds were more real than anything, Mia's site got taken off but the pictures are still out there, it sent a very true message that there is no reset button and the pictures can't ever go away.

A better way to fix the Gabe thing would be if he was Mia's father since she said he was a creep though her mom didn't think so implying Mia knows something that her mother didn't (or didn't want to admit) about her father and Mia didn't want him to see the site possibly cause he was a pedophile or stalker. It would be better than messing up the idea that you should contact the law. Plus Gabe photographed her during the mall incident before she even joined the agency. I was sure it was him when I watched it due to the foreshadowed things stated about him.
