but don't take my word for it - I'm a Brit (in Britain).

I'm looking forward to watching this.

I see Kate Ashfield is in it, I loved her in SHAUN OF THE DEAD.
Then again, I love the British accents.

Very good show, I'll be watching part 2 tonight. Hated Brendan's character with a passion. What a manipulative bastard. Wanted to slap Miranda's family for believing him and not their own daughter. Her sister is a moron.

reply

Yeah it just aired last-night with part two on tonight. Can't wait!

reply

This was a surprisingly good two-parter that got even better in part 2, with a very satisfying ending.

I'm hoping BBC America will rerun it -- I'd like to get it on tape!

reply

They must be repeating it because I watched it last Saturday 17 June and part 2 is on this coming Saturday, 24 June. Good thing I decided not to delete it off of my Tivo, I thought my husband might want to watch it. (Though when I told him Tennant was playing Doctor Who, after watching Harry Potter, he thought Doctor Who was a Dr. Seuss character, LOL.)

Aahahahahahahahaha!!!! That's seriously funny! OMG

I really wanna see it, but apparently they've decided once it's shown a few times, that's it. *sob*

David Tennant is all mine!

BBC America almost always repeats everything so you should have a good chance of seeing it again. Also if you look for it on youtube you'll find it but it's called hidden truth

reply

Has anyone recorded it?

reply

you can find it on youtube but it's called hidden truth to protect the person from the copyright police

reply

Actually, I just ended up importing the DVD. Found it cheap. Thanks though!

You did the right thing - the Dutch one is widescreen anamorphic as broadcast in the UK, but the Region 1 (Canadian) one is pan-and-scan and has extra canned music where there should be silence behind the dialogue!

"Oh look - a lovely spider! And it's eating a butterfly!"
