This movie reminds me of Anger Mnagement (2003) exept with nerds instead of people with anger management because more like the "Villan" steals the guys girl and he has to find a way to get her back. Discuss...

Agreed. Anger Management is way better but it does try to be like Anger Management in the way the OP stated.

Anger Management is the better movie by far though.
I couldn't get through Anger Management - it pissed me off. This was funny and entertaining.

I never saw Anger Management. I think Adam Sandler is a smarmy, unfunny prick. Everytime I see his smug face, I get the urge to take a flamethrower to the screen.

Now I was thinking the same thing, right up to Dr. Petes little speech about becoming a man at the airport, graduating the class and whatnot, but then it turned out he was just being his old self, and REALLY trying to steal amanda. I honestly didnt see it coming. I was like, "DAMMIT! It's exactly the same as Anger Managment" and then I was like "Sweeeet"
It's almost like they lure you in to believe it's like the old tried and true formulae but then bam, gives you a twist.
I really enjoyed this.

They changed one thing to make it not seem like Anger Management. What a goddamn joke. And Jon Heder has to be one of the most annoying, aggravating actors to watch. It's a stolen idea with a not so good cast. And don't try to justify Billy Bob as a stand-up actor. This may be challeneged cause I have not seen many of his films but the only credible movie he was in was Monster's Ball.
yeah was about to say. It is very similar to Anger management, except anger management was original and much better and fun, this movie wasn't that bad, but seeing it was so similar and took some of its plot it wasnt that good either.

Sandler and Nicholson should go ask Thornton and Heder if they have an excuse for making this movie and if not punch them both in the face, in public. I'd suggest Turturro to humiliate Stiller but heh you can't stay mad at Stiller...except for that movie with drew barrymore and the crazy old lady...duplex! god awful!
Anyway... school for scoundrels was not completely PATHETIC, but anyone involved in it who doesnt have an excuse about similarities to anger management should be ashamed.
I guess its part of the business...but why do studios make such similar movies? This one was not one right after another but movies like Poseidon had a tv twin(both crap), so did Armageddon(both decent)...can anyone think of others? There have to be lots.
There's another difference between Anger Management and School for Scoundrels: in Anger Management, the girlfriend (Linda) was in on the "scam," but in School for Scoundrels, Amanda clearly had no idea of what was going on.
