Satinka... simply a must see.

Very few times I come across a feature that can bring out my deepest thoughts and fears. It becomes a challenge for me to detach from reality and enter a surreal world that makes me doubt my own thoughts and perceptions. This movie is Satinka. I personally consider it an evolution, an outcome from one of my favorites "Branches".

This time, the cast was flawless. The lead had a specific role, and he took on the movie. I'm talking about Sevy Di Cione. It was about time that he carried a film on his own, and he definitely proof to be the perfect pick. Setting aside some comic relief, and the intriguing character Sevy portrayed, he was able to take me to a very dark spectrum. I would see on his expression, the pain when he surrenders to his own fears and doubts; yet there was also a very strong side, one that made him survive while he would strive for his own life.

The ending is all against cliches. It is impossible to predict this movie's next move, and where it will take you. A different perception on this piece is intended for each viewing, and every individual. You can make it your own.

Supporting work from some characters (i.e. Kyomi , J.R. , Skinny) also complimented this unique thriller. This time , Mauro Borelli kicked ass, and so did his whole team. It is a no brainer this feature will continue the independent film making craze and earn the respect it already deserves.

Can't wait to see what Sevy's gonna come up with now.
