Is this supposed to be...?

Is this supposed to be a movie convincing people to become Christian?
Or just a random title for a movie?

Thanks in advance.

reply

Considering the poster is a parody of those Chick Tracts you get from random Christian evangelists on the streets, I would say it's in reference to Christianity. Also mentioning it stars the actress who plays a Goth forensic expert on the show NCIS. It would be odd if this film was trying to get people to become Christian, based on how it seems so far. Hopefully those evangelist films are few and far between.

The actress you talk about believes in God. Also all religions damn the damned. Next time give some sweet words on your Islam.

Excuse me? The guy YOU criticize was mocking the obvious hypocrisy most Christians (I'm talking about all the conservative, evangelist types who want to bomb the Middle East while conveniently ignoring the fact that there Christians living there as well - oh, but they're brown skinned, so nobody cares about them! I'm not even going to mention the child molestation cover-ups...) display, NOT the religion itself. Get off YOUR high horse son, after all aren't you types supposed to not 'judge others, lest ye be judged'? Exactly WHY do you rag on about Islam? It's the world's fastest growing religion, so I guess you must have a case of sour grapes.

P.S. Ragging Christianity does NOT mean the poster you criticized is a devil worshiper. Maybe he/she doesn't like hyper-sensitive pricks like you, that's all.

Referring to Catholics as Christians should be a crime.
That's just my humble opinion.

I think letting idiots use the internet should be a crime.

But that's just my humble opinion.

Rogue303:
Well, as a Catholic myself, I've always been taught to hate the sin, not the sinner.Furthermore, if you were at all educated in Christianity, you'd realize that Catholics were(and still are) the ORIGINAL Christians.

"Jesus saith to them: But whom do you say that I am? Simon Peter answered and said: Thou art Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answering said to him: Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: because flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven. And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven."

This specifically grants Peter (the first Pope) the power of Apostolic succession. If you feel compelled to spew more bile and hate on these message boards, at least have the mental wherewithal to back your opinions up.

Yeah peter was definatly pope thats why he was told off by saint paul? HUH? Oh nvm. OH WAIT PETER WROTE HALF THE NEW TESTAMENT oh no that was paul again. I KNOW Peter was not married and followed the rules set up by todays catholic priests and popes........oh damn again no he did not he had a wife, he also didnt live in a fancy ass house with people kissing his butt. But then again catholics are ignorent and sadly 90 percent of religious people dont even read the bible thus is why they screw up so much and then make the rest of us look like morons someone will say you do a good job of it yourself but i will reply your not perfect either so please excuse me for being human.

The bible is a great book. I can prove anything is a sin with it. Or not a sin. Great, great book.

reply

If its true christians can "loose" things on earth and God has to abhere to that then why doesnt the pope just say FROM NOW ON WE ARE ALL SAVED AND TOMMOROW GOD WILL APPEAR AND MAKE YOU ALL PERFECT ALL SINNERS IN HELL WILL GO TO HEAVEN AND ALL PEOPLE IN HEAVEN WILL GET ALONG AND ALL WILL BE PERFECT? Maybe cause A. Its a lie that the pope can do that. B. cause he doesnt wanna do that cause then he wouldnt have his palace and people kissing his butt or is it C. Cause he just doesnt care about you or me enough to do that. im guessing its A

off their website (http://www.monsterpants.net/satan/satanhatesyou.html);

SATAN HATES YOU is the latest feature film from writer/director James Felix McKenney and MonsterPants movies. The film has been in the process of being shot bit-by-bit since 2005 while McKenney and company worked on other projects, including the acclaimed AUTOMATONS. The next segment of SATAN HATES YOU will be shot in May of 2007 with the film going into full-time production the following fall.

Inspired by films from the golden age of religious cinema such as A THIEF IN THE NIGHT (1972), IF FOOTMEN TIRE YOU, WHAT WILL HORSES DO? (1971) and STALKED (1969), SATAN HATES YOU is a graphic horror film that tells the stories of two individuals and their struggles with Lucifer himself. The film boasts a large ensemble cast, mixing well-known genre names with MonsterPants regulars.

Automatons? Acclaimed?

hyperbole, much?

The film stars Don Wood, Christine Spencer, Angus Scrimm, Reggie Bannister, Michael Berryman, Larry Fessenden and Debbie Rochon in a story about two troubled individuals (Wood and Spencer) who begin to realize they’re in the carpool lane to damnation! Inspired by the “Satanic panic” films of the 50’s–70’s, Satan Hates You has all the markings of the kind of unique film we just don’t get enough of these days.

"This film is significantly larger than anything we've done before,” McKenney said. ”With a huge cast and multiple locations around New York, Los Angeles and even Hell itself, I went into this shoot fearing I bit off more than I could chew. But our incredible cast and amazing crew made getting this ambitions project in the can a breeze … It was almost too easy."

I think its funny that the original question here is essentially is the director of "Canniballistic" (Seriously thats how he spells it) who is also the producer of "I Sell the Dead" and 2 of the stars of the Phantasm series working on a Christian film. When I saw that title I never thought of religion. Look at the titles of exploitation, cult and comedies and tell me that title is not far off...

Pauley believes in God. She doesn't believe in religion, but in faith. She carries a bible with her.

Personally, I am a church-going Christian. I love my church, my congregation; it’s my favorite place to be. I feel the safest and the happiest when I am at my beloved church.

Sounds to me like she "believes in religion".

reply

She's a Methodist, and since she's a supporter of gay rights
she's obviously not a fundamentalist. She refuses to get
married until gay couples can marry as well. She helped
campaign against Prop 8 along with her fiance. Like her
character on NCIS she's very hard to try to label or pin
down. I think she carries that into that character which
makes her so good at it. I hope this is a good movie for
her. I look forward to seeing it.

I don't think this has ANY kind of message.

I couldn't watch more than a few minutes of it. How did Perrette
get talked into doing this crappy movie?

reply

This is low rate christian propaganda, based on Jack Chicks cheesy tracts.
This film is not worth viewing. I do not recommend this crap.
