I hope i'm not the only one with this problem but when i hook my internet up to the network adapter it says there is activity but when i try and connect it says that i am timed out. its been about four months since ive played online and it worked fine that long ago. but all of a sudden it doesnt work anymore. please help me!!
sharedude i am having that exact same problem. it is ticking me off. my brother like knows everything about this stuff and he tried helping me out with it tonight. he couln't figure it out and he thinks its my network adaptor. ill try and give you the advice he gave me. delete your network settings and take off your network adapter, plug it back in and create a new network settings and prey that it works
I've had trouble with my online gaming as well. Most of my problems with being disconnected and/or not being able to log on have stemmed from my network setup. I typically use a router and I have found, as well as heard from other users, that it is better to hook up your connection directly to your modem rather than a router or hub. My disconnects are now few and far between after making that simple little change. Oh and don't forget to reset your modem by unplugging it for a couple of seconds when you make the connection change back and forth between your router/hub and the modem. Regards & Best of Luck.
