A far better film than the recent barrage of bad 2nd generation desi movies. Great ensamble cast, Good performances, good story and great music. An entertaining film!!!

Are you crazy? I thought the movie was going to be good considering I have just seen Peters' stand up....but this str8 sucked!!! I couldnt bear to watch more than the 30 mins that I did, and I really want my $2.21 that I paid for the bootleg. If anyone thinks that this movie is great, you must not see that many movies.

shareI agree with the two of you that this was a cute movie. I was surprised at the low rating. I think the low raters have a vendetta against some of the lead actors. When you read all of their negative comments, they sound like they are coming from the same person who is trying to poison others against this movie. Maybe they were supposed to win a role and didn't.
I watch tons of movies from all around the world. And, I am getting to the point that I am becoming so disappointed in what is coming out of Hollywood.
Point being here that I really enjoyed this movie and I liked that I wasn't watching the same boring actors out of Hollywood. Maybe this wasn't an Oscar winning movie but it was a nice way to spend a couple of hours and I wasn't bored once. The music score was wonderful, too.

I'm so sick of the same faces as well. It's funny, I kept thinking with a little tweaking and polishing here and there this could have gone to theaters. I enjoyed this more than a lot of movies in the same genre with probably 3x the budget. I especially identify with your last paragraph by the way.
