Music scenes suck ......

But everything else is awesome!!!!!!!! Great movie, now if only it weren't for the music scenes

reply

A lot of the music itself was rather uneven, but I feel it really helped the movie. I mean, come on...'Slow Fast Food Love'? That's a damn fine segment.

reply

Slow Fast food love, and the one with Arby and his future self singing where great. The other ones were so-so.

reply

I can't stop listening to Lloyd Kaufman and Arbie's duet. *beep* great stuff. Slow Fast Food Love was also really good, especially with all of the naked extras dancing around for no real reason whatsoever. Ahhh, classic Troma.

reply

Slow fast Food Love and the lloyd and Arby song were AWESOME...the rest, "eh".

Still, one of my fav flicks!! Troma 4-eva!

I found Murderous General pretty catchy as well.....

I am not little_marie_sunshine or little_mary_moonbeam!

reply

All the songs, except for the General's song in the midsection, were great and paced the story nicely.

reply

I totally agree...I would like the movie much more if it wasn't a semi-musical.

The songs were bad, unfunny and too long.

After a couple I started to fast forward though them.

reply

What do you mean, unfunny? They were hilarious! Especially "Longing to Live, Waiting to Die". But then again I am also a musical theatre freak......

Spring Awakening is my junk.
RIP Wendla and Moritz

reply

I fast forwarded all the songs after a few lyrics realizing they were dumb.

Musicals are the worst thing for film, it's like saying "hey this has been a realistic film, but lets just stop reality and go into a music video"

The film loses all credibility.

reply

Totally agree.

reply

Eh, I have to agree, I started skipping them, thank god they weren't placed later in the movie every 10 minutes like some damn musicale.
