A lot like 'Wrong Turn'.

Did anyone else notice how strikingly similar this movie was to Wrong Turn?

- Jeremy Sisto was a main character in both movies.
- Both essentially started off with a "wrong turn" (if you notice in Pop436, before he enters the town, he stops to decide which way to go, then turns onto the road that leads to Rockwell Falls)
- Both took place in small, wooded rural areas.
- Both movies had traps set to catch victims (potholes in Pop436, barbed wire in Wrong Turn)
- Both movies had hidden "junk yards" full of cars taken from people who were lured in.
- In both movies, the escape vehicle was a stolen tow truck, and the escape route was a small dirt road.
- Both ended with a building exploding.

I thought this movie was good.. better than I had expected. It was just uneventful. There was a lot of suspense-inducing music, but very little was actually suspenseful. The acting was pretty good, and the story was original, it just wasn't too terribly entertaining.

Considering I'm writing this topic about Pop 436 versus Wrong Turn.. if I had to choose between them, I'd choose Wrong Turn.

Anyway, just wanted to point that stuff out.

hey woods, what kind of 5 year old child calls someone names for using a movie message board to write a message about movies? Grow up.

I think it's the other way around, kid.

I noticed a few of these as well. Just a bizarre coincidence but it's interesting.

Yeah, many similarities between the two movies, but Wrong Turn is much better.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)
