Ending questions spoilers

Alright, so I finished the game about a half hour ago. For anyone who doesn't have them already, buy the Essential Collection! I do, however, have a few questions.

So they mention that "The Sorrow" has ESP or something like that. Was he related somehow to Psycho Mantis, or was it mere coincidence?

The conversation with Ocelot after the credits (Why always Ocelot?!) was a bit confusing. So if I'm not mistaken, is he actually an AMERICAN agent? He mentioned "triple-crossing" the Soviet Union.

No, they're not related. Their powers are different, too. The Sorrow could actually communicate with the dead. Mantis could only read people's minds. However, The Sorrow is the father of Ocelot.

Yes, Ocelot was working for the Americans. In that same phone conversation, he revealed himself to be ADAM and revealed that he was working for the CIA and that his mission was to ensure that the Philosopher's Legacy was safely back in America's hands. However, only half of the money made it back to America. The other half was with the Soviet Union.

Who the hell are these Patriots? Are they human?

Thanks MW. The Psycho Mantis - Sorrow thing just made me wonder. I'm hoping The Sorrow shows up in MGS4 to make things a bit more interesting than they already are.
