I was just wondering what did people around the world see, I know that Americans would have seen the Philadelphia concert and the Canadians would have see the Canada concert ect.
But I was wondering what the people in place like Australia, Spain, Sweden, ect. Would have seen!
If they had any sense they would have seen our one in Hyde Park, not to boast or anything, but we had the best line-up by far, and the man himself - Bob Geldof!
shareI'm working in Taiwan and if I didn't check American webnews often, I would never even know it happened. I have not heard one person mention it. Somehow I think the event's publicists didn't make it out of the western world. In that case, I wonder if many Africans knew anything about it either. Maybe if they had these super concerts in Africa, they would have a greater effect.
shareOn the day there was a Live 8 concert in Johannesburg which apparently had a damb good bill on African acts (and Nelson Mandela) plus a second British concert (Live 8 Africa Calling) at the Eden Project in Cornwall which again featured an entirly African bill (and Dido, who dueted with Youssou N'dour).
Youssou N'dour also appeared at Live 8 London earlier in the day and went on to appear at Live 8 Paris later that evening.

The way MTV and VH1 did the encore today we got to see stuff from all over the world though most was from London or Philadelphia, but they did show some stuff from Berlin, Paris, Tokyo and Johanessburg, I don't recall seeing anything tho from Rome, Russia, or Ontario and I watched all 10 hours on MTV and VH1 but overall I thought it was excellently done in the encore, much better than last week's coverage that was interrupted incessantly.
