NO BOSS!!!!!

Why in the hell wasn't Bruce Springsteen playing at live 8, or live aid for that matter. Bruce is the greatest muscician in the history of rock and roll and one of the greatest musicians who fight for change. I know he wanted to do this. Was he not invited, or were there scheduling conflicts. I would be very dissapointed in Bruce if he declined to play. Does anyone know, please answer this madness.

Bob Geldof asked Springsteen to play at the London Live Aid concert back in 1985. Bruce would have been in town as not only was was he touring the UK at the time, he was to play Wembley Stadium two nights before the charity gig (infact the Live Aid stage was "his" stage).

He has since admited that he regrets not appearing, especialy as, like Cat Stevens, the organisers where more than happy for him to simply turn up unanouced and play a couple of acoustic numbers.

As for his absense from Live 8, I can't help you. Sorry.

"I think you're a load of old crap too, Mr Mulligan."
