share@steve: just so the other poster isn't the only one who replied, I AGREE WITH YOU. I thought the movie was okay - not great but enjoyable. It was beautifully filmed, therefore pretty to look at, but I did think it was a bit weak on the fantastical elements (it SHOULD have been billed as a fantasy film "loosely" based on history).
Even films that are "based on a true story" take liberties. Nit-picking, indeed
