INFAMY

This is probably the best graff vid to come out since style wars, although piecebypiece was pretty dope, kinda lacked a little , left out alot of dope writers, they should have had more interviews like style wars.....piecebypiece seems like it just zips through a whole 20 history a little too fast, but it is dope. Infamy on the other hand is muther f'king SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doug pray put it together like butta on bread. What is unique about it, is how each writer pretty much lets you into their lives, not completely but enough to see how all writers have alot in common in their daily lives.

Similar to the Style Wars documentary on the grafitti subculture emerging in New York during the early 1980's, Infamy mimics the interview between one young grafitti king (skeme) and his dear mother. Infamy (2005) however includes interviews with each of the subjects, and is accompanied by an interview with at least one family member. Kind of an uneccesary device, and perhapse not as valid as the single interview in Style Wars, Infamy is a good documentary and will be sought after in the years to come. Kind of have to feel bad for Joe Connolys family though. 4 out of 5.
