does anyone know exactly where or how many days will the filming last in Puerto Rico?

hey im at work right now, at the El San Juan Hotel in Isla Verde, PR. Tonight they are doing a couple of scenes in the lobby, at 11pm. They asked us front desk agents to be extras, but since i am working im not able *beep* anyway, they filmed here at the pool earlier, and tonight until 4am is the lobby shot. bye.

Oh thanks for the info. I was wondering about this. I heard this morning on the radio that they were still filming here (PR) but I wasn't sure where exactly or even what movie jeje. Now I know.

A friend of mine called earlier today and had seen Richard Gere on the set. He had been given a brief "set tour" by one of the lighting persons. Good luck!

I went to see the shooting. I wasn't close enough, just saw it from far away, but it was in Old San Juan. And I heard they were shooting in other locations around San Juan. I went with Mariano Barroso and Alicia Luna, who are friends of my aunt. That's as far as I know.

Not sure about New York, but I am at the Wyndham El San Juan hotel in Puerto Rico and they are filming some of this movie here tonight.

I work at 77th and Madison and they were filming today by the boat pond (where the little rental boats are sailed at 74th-76th streets in the park on the east side) and had all the trailers parked on 76th street between 5th and madison. I saw a huge trailer that I'm assuming is Gere's that said "Gov" on the side. Its funny because no one was around the park today because its about 100 degrees out.

To those interested, the crew was still filming at the boat pond as previously mentioned, as of 5:30 this afternoon when I was bikiing out of the Park. Unfortunately, they are not too keen on letting people linger about, so it's hard to get a good look. And you're right, it's hot as all hell out.

Just an added comment, I have a friend who is in this movie, he is playing truman capote, Micheal J Burg , played truman capote in the Audrey Hepburn Story .

i live in union city, NJ. they were filming a few scenes in a bowling alley a block away from my house. Heard from a source they will be in pleasantville ny tomorrow on marble ave and pauling street.

yep they filmed scenes at Bowl Rite in Union City, closed the bowling alley an entire day just for the movie.

My sister is at work now in NYC and trying to walk around the set and see if Richard Gere is somewhere around.. I think it's somewhere near the Seaport. I'll post again when I get the exact location, lol, I can't remember where she works.

I just passed by plesantville,NY by the pizza hut and there were people talking about the movie being filmed there. Richard Gere was the talk of the area so this seems to be the only movie he is filming right now.

On Friday, August 19th the filming will be taking place somewhere in the vicinity of 88/89th Streets bewteen Central Park West and Columbus. There are notices posted on my block (88th Street) informing residents not to park on these streets because of crew trucks.

Yeah, and the s-pusher's trailers are all over my block. It's bad enough trying to find a spot to park on Katonah. Now this stuff is all over the place.

I was in Woodlawn all evening it was very exciting.

Richard Gere would hardly take any pictures just rushed from trailer to the set.

But Marcia Gay Harden, was so sweet. She took loads of pictures with anyone who wanted one.

IM SORRY I JUST MISSED YOU ON TUESDAY THEY SHOT A SENE IN THE PLEASENTDALE CHEATU IN WESTORANGE N.J. I WORK AT THE OWNERS OTHER RESTAURANT THE MANOR SO THEY SHOWED ME PICS OF GERE AND ALFRED MOLINA THERES A SCENE WITH ELI WALLACH USING THE POOL THERE ITS COOL.

I was in columbia university (New york) on friday, 19th august and they were shooting a scene in the old library. I dont know if people are familiar with the Columbia campus, but they have two libraries; one which is the current library and they have an older library which is now used for commencement and stuff like that and its a pretty old and very impressive bldg. They had put up signs in the lib about the shooting (had never heard of the movie before this :P) they were shooting a scene with gere on one of the elevated alcoves and they had put grey blanks in all the book shelves, which i guess they will digitally replace with books in post production. Also had some cool lights volumetric lighting cuz it was a cloudy day outside.....just my 2 cents.

Today they were in Irvington NY in front of the train station. I just saw Gere and Molina, but they just left about a half hour ago, not sure if they are done for the day or if they just went to lunch.

Just went over there again and they are filming a new scene. Alfred Molina has just gotten out of a car. Richard Gere is sitting in the driver's seat. He gets out and walks with Molina into a bar. That's it.

There are signs along 86th street between central park west and columbus,and along cetral park west until 88th street that they are filming yesterday the 22nd and today the 23rd. possible tomorrow the 24th also
