I was looking for him, since I haven't seen him in anything for a while. I didn't recognize him at first, but the moment he spoke his first line I recognized the voice. What a long career! Nice part for him, too.

Did it sound like he said the word "Tuco" a couple of times? I could've sworn he said Tuco!

of course, it's utterly unrealistic for the wallach character to spend an hour (or more likely, two or three hours) swimming in his pool. enough time for molina to sneak out the five hundred page manuscript, take it to the nearest photocopy shop, duplicate the entire thing, and bring it back. this "episode" never really happened, and its "portrayal" is the weakest, most unconvincing part of the film. nonetheless, eli wallach does well in his portrayal of the noah dietrich character.

Oh jeez, I totally forgot Tuco was in this. I'll have to watch it a 2nd time just for that reason alone. The guy has a knack of looking & acting completely different in all his films. I watched The Misfits for almost half an hour before realizing it was him. LONG LIVE TUCO.

I'm sure liberties were taken but his manuscript was looked at by Clifford Irving who plagarised parts of it.

Its that man again!!
