It's a total waste of money.

Much like Robin Williams, her funny years are way behind her. And unlike Williams, she didn't really have that many funny years. It was more like a couple of weeks minus a day or two.

Obviously you have not seen this hilarious concert film. I saw Ms. Cho live in Philadelphia and it was by far and away the funniest stand up routine I've seen in years. Ms. Cho is a national treasure!

Ms. Cho is a national treasure!

The only people referred to as this are has-beens and the never quite arrived, hack writers and poets who no one has ever heard of, and 100 year olds on their birthday.
I'll reserve comment on the actual movie until I see it, it's not playing within a couple hundred miles of me. Guess I'll have to rent the DVD or wait for it on cable to see it.

Margaret Cho is an awesome standup comedian. This concert film SUCKED though.

The pace is so brutal. One PART of a joke per minute as she waited for the hooting and hollering to settle down.

Seriously, I think this would have been better if it was filmed elsewhere. In the Castro Theatre (which is an awesome venue, btw) with the gay and lesbian community (some of her biggest fans) and with her being a native SF'er... it was like a pep rally for Margaret. They hooted and hollered because she'd say things they agreed with. The political jokes don't make sense if you don't follow US politics very closely. But mostly, if the audience would let her do her thing, it would have ben better. The comedy was ruined by having to wait 2 minutes after every word she said.

Watch a previous Margaret Cho film to get her good comedy.

I wish it didn't, but this film totally sucked.

PS. I don't disagree with her, nor do I find her offensive. I love her comedy, but I hated this film.
