i just watched a film of his called hard corps and right from the start of the film i saw that he had a huge lump on the top left of his face, why?, man it looked like a growth or something

Van Damme had this bumb on his head for since i ever saw one of his first movies,maybe a old head injury from his pre movie kick-boxing days,he was knocked out some times back than...

it was around the time of his movie double team .

The lump has been around since the days of Bloodsport. It was not as pronounced then as it is today and JCVD partially obscured it with his stylish hairdo.

Hahahaha I was going to ask about that lump. I swear I don't remember it being there in his old movies. I feel like I would have noticed it, but it's totally prominent in his newer movies.

He has had that lump for years.Myabe he has head-butted to many bad guys lol.

He said it was a cyst and it's been there since the start of his career. It's more apparent now because he doesn't wear his hair down across his forehead like he used to when he was younger.

I also only noticed it more on his recent movies and had been wondering what it was for ages.
