Approx 50+% of the voters rated this a 10/10, yet its average is a 4/10

I wonder why? Oh that's right:

Weighted Average Ratings
IMDb publishes weighted vote averages rather than raw data averages. Various filters are applied to the raw data in order to eliminate and reduce attempts at 'vote stuffing' by individuals more interested in changing the current rating of a movie than giving their true opinion of it. The exact methods we use will not be disclosed. This should ensure that the policy remains effective. The result is a more accurate vote average.

Yeah even I bashed cross on his first movie. And he seems like the guy that accepts critisims both good and bad. I doubt he would bother making fake reviews about his own movie. HE got paid probably good money to make the movie, he doesn't need to make fake reviews so that like maybe 100 or so people that may be influenced by the imdb ratings and go rent the movie.

Maybe people who don't like it just vote it down? and don't make any comments and therefore that's why it is rated the way it is?

It is a B movie, the photography was not the best, some acting wasn't also good, some film clichès (deja-vu), but a very good B movie. Some sequences seemed cutted. A 7 out of 10. But a 10, no way.
