Was Darius Blake actually Elizabeth Dean? Also, on the back of the DVD cover it says Laura Kove has to "face her past"... i loved this film but... nowhere does she "face her past".... Could you help me?
No, Darius was not Elizabeth Dean, he just said he was in the IM scene to mess with her. As far as "facing her past", you can thank the idiots at Lion's Gate for that one. I don't even think they watched the movie before they released it so they just made up some b u l l s h i t synopsis. Of course, most people think I'm an idiot, so take that for what it's worth.
You can't blame David for the bad synopsis on that dvd cover. Once a studio or distribution company has the rights to distribute your film they can pretty much have their way with the thing. Kinda sucks for the filmmaker as they are the ones people associate all creative and marketing authority to. www.wheatcityfilms.com
Your right! wow did that trailer suck A S S! I can't believe they would put that on the dvd!!! Or show it anywhere else!! The idea is to get people to WANT to rent this film. Someone at LGF is definately putting in time only for the check.
And here's the really terrible thing...that trailer is on the new Saw Uncut DVD. How embarrasssing is that?! Last time I had the time to cut my own trailer together. This is what happens when I leave it in the hands of someone who doesn't give a rat's ass.
Man I feel sorry for you. That sucks, being a filmmaker myself i can understand how furious you must be. Its a good lesson for the rest us though...cut your own trailer or get raped by the distributor!!!!!!
Also, anotehr weird thing I noticed about the DVD is that the cover has the same girl?!?! What's with that? Liz Dean isn't even a character in this! Also, who sang the song during the club scene? It goes like "You dance w/ the devil.. the devil don't..."
It reminds me of the first movie. When I bought it, it implies on the back cover that Elizabeth is a con artist but I never got that feeling from her not was it ever implied in the movie itself so that had me wondering.
I have been a horror fan for a long time and maybe these aren't "blockbuster material" they're certainly good little horror flicks. I did like the first one better but that's just my opinion.
People who say it's the worst are either being over-dramatic or need to watch more movies. I have seen many movies that were way worse than this.
And why wasn't the door in the attic explained AT ALL? All through the movie I was itching for it to come up, but other than opening and sucking the girl into the room, it was just dropped.
This is Seregon O'Dassey. I've seen this comment, I didn't write it. I don't know who's deliberately using a name very similar to mine, and I don't know why. I just want to be clear that these comments did not come from me.
