It stinks!

I caught this bad film at a festival. I am confused as to how this turkey was even accepted at the festival.

The acting was fine. The material was adequate. The story construction is where it went wrong. Too confusing. By paying close attention, I followed the story; it was not easy.

It will soon be released directly to the dollar theaters or possibly direct to video, where it will sell for $2.00 per tape.

I've been hearing only good things about it, but that's just at one small festival, but I think it's gonna do fine. I don't think it's gonna go to the dollar theaters though.

I shouldn't think so, especially since Jennifer Tilly won best actress for Intervention at a recent film festival!

That tells more about the specific festival than it does about the film.

Agree with the OP. There's nothing wrong with the acting save that the actors' talents are wasted on a completely dishevelled screenplay. That is, the movie's screenplay is all over the place and lacks any focus nor any compelling attempt towards development of character.

Given the subject matter, and its potential to be absolutely moving, engrossing and fascinating, thus to make a movie which ends up so absolutely & excruciatingly unwatchable, is quite inexcusable.

3/10 - because the acting and score were both good.

dstern1 which festival was it you saw it at?!

It's only played at 4 and has been highly acclaimed at them all!

Worst movie there, 1/10.
Just because it was improvised doesn't make up for the rest of the *beep*

Rhode Island International Film Festival.

I gave this flick a 7 out of 10. I found it interesting to watch, although I sure as hell didn't care for the characters in it and that includes the therapists. Very egotistical argumentive people.
