Why do some D.I.s have an aversion to swearing? I would laugh my ass off if I heard that as a recruit.

Yes, I just can't imagine any of my old DI's from Parris Island circa 1979 using the word "Freaking"....

Technically, the DIs aren't supposed to swear. Some do and some try not to.
