Lazy bag of shyte who only wanted to eat. He wasn't even going to check out the Mercer place! Plus he was going to let Cathy be killed & got pissed when she fought back!

I like how at the end he was like "freaking out of towners" when a local just acted like a psycho in front of him. the sheriff is basically a moron.

He was a lazy, slovenly, fat blob of a man. With bad habits and poor mannerism. I mean who sucks eggs sunny side up through a straw. Gross!
