Fiona M. Tyson - Special Effects Assistant

Is Fiona M. Tyson the hottest new up and coming Special Effects artist? I believe so with style and skill she can turn any normal person into a bloody mess, literally. I have seen her make beautiful girls into ugly zombies and bring a historic look to some modern men. Keep and eye on her she is the next big thing in special effects makeup.

PS if you are looking to find her try Emerson College.

hahahahaha... well, being Fiona M. Tyson i appreciate the above, so yea this isn't shameless self-promotion incase people were wondering... but i am very much looking forward to the movie cause doing some of the special effects was so much fun and was a great experience for me, especially being in a real summer camp up at 3am pouring fake blood on people.. in any other situation that may seem weird, but because of this movie my life is that much more interesting.. i hope to be seeing alot of you at the Boston screening!!

oh yea.. also the effects in this film were mainly done by Matt Corrigan who I assisted so if anyone should get the big credit it's him :)

Sorry, but the special effects were laughable.

MaximRecoil, the major problem with using real blood, beyond the potential health hazard (and the major crimp in the whole "No animal was harmed" thing), is that blood starts clotting the instant it exits the body. Since you can't unclot congealed blood, there would be no practical advantage to using it -- you might as well go with the usual fake stuff.

Sorry, but it bugs me how blood can run and drip forever in horror movies, without ever clotting or drying. That day-old bucketful should have landed on Carrie in one solid chunk!
