Well, Sam Jackson singing . . .

. . . sure sounds like Sam Jackson singing.

I mean, of course, no duh. But he's supposed to be a blues singer from way back, packin' them in the bar, and well, he just sucks. He does not have a good blues voice. Sorry.

They should have gotten someone else to sing and overdub him. He was fine in the speaking part of the song, but once he actually started to sing, he stank.

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

I disagree. He played and sang well.

I disagree too. I'm watching this movie now, and he sounds good to me.

reply

I agree. Love him to death, fantastic actor. But the singing was not up to par with what we were to believe of his career

reply

He did an adequate job, it's not like he's a professional musician. Many blues artist are raw and known for their sound rather than being expert vocalist.

reply

He has a really good singing voice in general.

reply

His singing sounds like Sam Jackson talking.

reply

Yep. Couldn't listen to that singing voice too long without Tylenols.

reply

His style was very adequate for the community of the movie and genre of movie. Had he had a beautiful voice, it would've been out of place.
