bad

this movie was really bad. it's been a while since i've seen it, but i remember the ending being very predictable. Also, i remember at one point a girl is in the woods and she's drunk hiding from the beast. it's night... then it's day only seconds later! this was bad. but funny.... sorry if i've offended you... just my thoughts.

No, you're right, it was dismal. When I saw it on the shelf I was excited 'cause I liked the book about this case by Linda Godfrey, but--as usual--Asylum productions took an interesting premise for a movie and turned it into a predictable, cliched, nonsensical mess. I hope the Beast of Bray Road gets another crack by some competent writer and director.

reply

honestly, i knew it was gonna be bad... that's why i got it. lol.

reply

Yep, this obviously wasn't...a very good...movie...
I, personally, would like to take a crack at it. If I had a chance to actually make an actuall MOVIE that could be here on IMDB, I'd like to do this story. (too bad I'm only 15, huh? lol)

I thought it was decent, but a lot like Ginger Snaps.

Not sure how the ending is predictable since they pretty much make it an impossiblility.

**********SPOILER****************

If Kelly is the werewolf then how is she at the bar when all those people are being killed by it? They even cut from the scene where they're in the bar about to have sex to a murder scene where the cop says "These bodies are still warm, this happened only a few moments ago" (or something to that effect). SHE WAS IN THE BAR IN HUMAN FORM when the killing happened. She was also bartending when like 3 other killings took place. Total impossibility. Unless werewolves also have the power to be in two places at once, which I've never heard of.

or....there was more than one?

Swing away, Merrill....Merrill, swing away...

reply

My only issue with that theory is that if there was more than one in the town they should have revealed that as well. They just reveal the bartender as the huge twist which by itself leaves a hole. Sure there may have been more than one. Sure she may even have turned some people, but this wasn't revealed. Makes it look like a plot hole.

Werewolf fans check out the teaser of my full lengthe script Lumberton Lake.

It's called a gaping plot hole caused by sloppy writing and terrible producing/directing. It's common in crappy movies like this one. I've lost count of the number of movies I've seen with similar flubs.
