Okay, is it just me, but was the last hard game THPS3? Sometimes I think they should never have incorporated the Story Mode, because now all the goals are easy as *beep* and never take more than a couple tries to beat (except for Impossibling down the steps, that was tricky to master). I mean, seriously, OMG, hit X twice! What a difficult goal! And I mean, there's no chance that I'll ever be able to score 1,000 points! The Tony Hawk series has definitely been made for new players now. It literally took me longer to beat THUG1 on Easy than it did THAW on Sick. And I'm not even including the time it took to get all the combo markers (the final goal on THUG1).

I wish Story Mode was never incorporated. All the goals are as easy as hell. THPS4 wasn't even too hard, but it was better getting to do the goals in any order you want. No one cares about a story line, it's a freaking skateboarding game.

I think story is cool, but thats just me.
Oh yeah.THERE IS A CLASSIC MODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They're making the game way too easy. I was practically sleeping throughout story mode asking myself if I accidentally played on Easy Mode. When I finished the game I was shocked to find out I was playing on Sick Mode.

Oh, I disagree. I love the storylines.

I have two favorite teams: Louisville, and whoever plays Kentucky (Go Tennessee)

What the hell? How can you complain. They thought about gamers like you who dont exaclty like the whole story aspect and kept the classic mode in the game, but expanded the gameplay for those who actually like the story. You cant complain if its got the same elements as the old but more!

After Story Mode I got bored :) It's really the most fun part of the game, Next comes Classic Mode and then creating your own ultimate park.. I wish it wasn't really like this though, On the next Tony Hawk game I hope they'll make the skater go big and win the X-Games or something.

i like the story mode, i tried the classic mode after and i didn't like it very much. i own THPS4 and after playing the THUG games and THAW i didn't like it very much either.

If you wanna check out the story mode, check out the story mode, if you wanna check out the old school classic *beep* like from the THPS's, then go to classic mode....thats why there is both...to give you a choice...if you don like one or the other....then don't play that part.....I'm not sayin I was impressed or anything by the story mode....but you know...friday night, bored...maybe had a couple drinks...sure your gonna beat the game that night, but just think of it as like a movie that you put yourself into....and if you just wanna skate and do goals and high score combo's then you can do that to....
