im stuck on the mission where you help boone pull that green roof off the building by pressing X (i have ps2) but i dunno what im doing wrong becuz the meter takes me the whole tim to fill it a quarter way im pressing as fast as my wittle hands can go...any help??
i tried and tried but the meter did not move im really pissed

shareJust tap X really fast with ur index finger. It took me two tries, but then i found out the inddex finger is faster than just a thumb
shareyou my be pushing the button to fast and the system thinks your just holding the button down lift your finger a fraction of a CM higher and you'll get it

I had problems with this earlier too. Try rubbing back and forth on the button instead of picking up your finger to press it. that worked for me. In the mean time, can anyone tell me how to beat the "nollies with stevie williams" mission in east LA? It's the only one I have left in all of story mode. Am I supposed to be in manual before I nollie hardflip onto the red roof or where he's standing? I guess I just need someone to more clearly explain the order to me. cuz I've nollie hardfliped to the red roof in the middle, landed in a manual, and ollied over to where he's standing all in one combo but that seems to do nothing.

I'm stuck too. My friend invented something like a device that does this like press something very fast.
sharei couldnt do it, the first time i did it the bar went high then i messed up, every time after that it didnt move an inch. i was tryin for like 5 minutes then my older brother tried and got it. the mission is definitly a glitch

shareI got through it, and it wasn't easy.
Instead of useing your thumb, extend your index finger (right, duh) and flex your...er...the muscles in your elbow. Tense them so your whole lower arm and finger included kinda twitchs. Do that hitting the button. Than pause the game and wait for your arm to stop screaming at you, because through the second half, your arm tries to cramp. Ow. Hurts like hell, but it seems to be the only way to do it...
use a pen, i don't know why it works
