Killer from Urban Legend who (suprise, suprise) never dies, plot twist so lame you couldn't believe it, victims dumb as hammers... omfg what a peace of... i've seen scream, urban legends, the ring and many more (include their pre- and sequels) but THIS is a combined mix of the worst from them.

i watch hmm a movie a week, every week in the year i think thats ok. nja, EVER was wong but it's very very very lame. i've seen another slashermovies but THIS is lame. it could be so more cool.
I think you're missing the point of this movie, it's fairly obvious that the movie is aimed at putting down the clever clever smart mouthed younger generation. From the outset the audience is made to hate the telephone prank kids and later the over-aged adolescents, so instead of feeling sorry for them being eliminated one by one the audience is actually on the side of the killer(s). As for the psuedo sex with all the girls keeping their bras on etc, and the blurred out nipples in the only naked run through scene, well that only added to the hilarity of the whole movie. Breaks the mold of the usual good guys win movies.
shareI like that someone pointed it out, cause I wanted to see the kids get killed in the beginning...Since none of them died initially, I felt the movie started off week...As adults, I disliked mostly all of the characters, except for Kareem (Antwon Tanner)...He was the only one in my opinion, who held it down...My biggest issue is with the ending...How did the killer get his hands on the axe, when Marcus was the last one holding it...Also why end it by showing the cops about to get it...Wouldn't it be more satisfying, if after they were dispatched, he came after William...I mean he did stab him the face...Wasn't the twist revealed to us earlier, when the cops went to the scene of the crime...They showed a flashback of the little boy on the phone, who was now dead...One last thing...Why the hell would you continue playing a game that caused the deaths of so many people...His response when asked, was that was ten years ago...Though I could've swore he said twelve, but is that suppose to change things...

im pretty sure the writers of this film did not think the plot out as much as you did. its kinda un believable, but entertaining, but forgettable. and i hated the main black dude who introduces the game. he is one of the most annoying and stupid characters i have ever seen in a movie.

shareI liked this movie...It was well made, the actors could actually act instead of just say lines like most B movies. It was a lot like Scream to me though...It had the comedy/spoofs along with the horror and at one point I remember hearing the pranker say "I'm going to gut you like a pig", and in Scream it was a Fish, but still similar. The only reason Scream was a bigger movie was that it came first and kind of broke a lot of molds in the horror movie genre. I can't believe you think this is movie or I know who killed me was the worst movie of 2007, I could name movies worse than them: Dead Mary, The Curse of the Black Dahlia, Sublime, and April Fools to name a few...

You hate what Scream did to the horror Genre??? Just what did Scream do to the horror genre? Scream was made as a sarcastic look at the horror genre and the only thing it did that wasnt already done a thousand times over was to actually make fun of all of it. As for the original poster and his bashing of Scream and The Ring, I for one disagree 100%. While the sequals certainly werent anything special, the original Scream was a brilliant spoof of the Horror Genre and was extremely entertaining. Spoof films are one of the most difficult films to make as there is a fine line between spoofing something and just being plain stupid. Just look at all of the terrible spoof films we have seen lately. Films like Disaster Movie, Date Movie, etc. They were HORRID!! Scream pulled it off brilliantly with just the right mix and a fantastic cast.
As for the Ring, that was hands down the best horror film of the decade and is really the only remake of an asian horror film whose quality actually exceeds the original. Sure the original was great but The Ring was far more creepy and scary. The tone and atmosphere of the film is legitimately scary and you just dont see that very often these days as most horror these days is torture porn and torture porn's method of scareing people is by showing massive amounts of gore, not by setting up a truely scary tone to the film.
I for one absolutely detest torture Porn and personally think that it has utterly ruined the horror genre. If anything Scream and The Ring were really 2 of the last great horror films before torture Porn came onto the scene and we really havent had a great horror film since then. IMO the horror genre is absolutely pathetic right now. in fact I would say that this is the worst slump for horror since the genre has been around and that basically takes you back to the beginning of cinema.
To all the people saying "no this is not the worst movie ever, watch some more movies"... are you joking? Your defense is basically "yeah this movie was crap, but there exists bigger crap". Is that supposed to actually help the movie.
And in any case, the movie sucked. Big-time. Like, really sucked... alot!

i dont think this movie is the worst movie of 2007. i think it was meant tobe good cheesy slasher fun. i enjoyed it. there were a couple points were i couldnt stop laughing and some really retarded parts that made no sense, but it was a fun movie none the less.
