favorite and least favorite characters

Least Favorite:

1. Jonica - My absolute least fav character that was ever on the show. Even after the whole reveal where we find out she wasn't actually trying to get with Spencer I found her annoying. Plus, shoving alcohol in Spencer's face encouraging her to get drunk, wow, you're so cool. Ugh absolutely hated her and every scene she's in. Plus, she ruined what could have been a potentially awesome Spashley ep by showing up to Spencer's house uninvited.

2. Carmen - She got on my nerves a lot as well (haha it's funny my 2 least fav's are the ones who were trying to get with Spencer). Also when she shoved Spencer and then tried to act like that was out of character for her, uh-huh, sure. Then when I finally think she's gone she pops back up to b*tch at Ashley and live with her!! Ugh and then when she tried to get with Ashley and was all "we're do-ers not thinkers, sometimes we do the wrong things" encouraging her to cheat!!!! Ugh hahaha hated her the most in that moment.

3. Glen (seasons 1 and 2 only) - The first two seasons I found his character really annoying and unlikable. However, his changes in the third season were for the better because I liked him so much more then. I hated when he was on pain meds and how rude he was to Spencer about being gay.

Favorites:

1. Spashley - Ha I can't even really pick a fav of the two because they were so different, yet I liked them pretty equally. I loved Ashley's spunk and sarcastic and blunt attitude, but I loved when we got to see her more vulnerable and soft side too. With Spencer I just loved how sweet and nice she was, and also her naiveness was rather cute at times too (though, she really should have learned when somebody was interested in her, haha)

2. Chelsea - She was a great character. I'm so glad she was on the show because she had a great dynamic with the Carlin family and I also liked her friendship with Spencer and how accepting she was.

3. Arthur Carlin - Can you say best dad ever? Ha I really came to love him when he always stood up for Spencer and made her feel accepted and loved. He was such an amazing dad on the show, and as Ashley said "best girlfriend's dad ever!"

My favorites:

Spashley- Cutest couple ever. They were perfect.
Arthur- Like you said, best dad ever!
Aiden- I mostly like him because he's really good eye-candy

Least favorites:

Jonica, Clay, and Carmen.

Jonica & Carmen were just annoying.
Clay was annoying and couldn't act.

Favorite:

Spencer - She was sweet, understanding, caring. Just an all around good person who by the end of the show finally stopped taking everyone's *beep*

Arthur - Best dad ever. Need I say more?

Least:

Aiden - Wow. This guy screwed Spencer over by going after Ashley. Plus he was boring as hell. None of his storylines were entertaining.

Ashley - I have such a love/hate thing for Ashley. I love Spashley but hate Ashley's immaturity and self-centered additude. For 2 seasons she stepped all over Spencer and the moment Spencer said she wasn't going to stand for it...she goes and sleeps with Aiden. Oh yeah, and she abandoned Spencer for 2 months after Clay died! The show glossed that over but seriously what an a-hole move.

Favorite: Spencer, such a sweetheart.

Least Favorite: Aiden, by S3 I wanted him to just kill himself. He was a self-absorbed and whiny little ass. And I'm not saying this just because of the Spashley interference where he acted like a prick. I am also talking about how he treated Madison and Kyla. He treated them like dirt, and was still portrayed like a good guy. He should have ended the show miserable IMO. The fact that in the last fan written webisode he was the sperm donor for the Spashley baby makes me sick tbh. I am just glad that webisode isn't official canon, as I don't believe Spencer would let Aiden be the sperm donor.

Favorite: Ashley

Second Favorite: Spencer

Least Fav: Kayla and Aiden, actually most of the other characters were kind of awful.

I loved everyone except for Carmen, the mom, Kyla, and Clay.

Favorite: Spencer, she was perfect in every way and it wasn't annoying or overbearing. She is the cutest character ever written.

Least favorite: Aiden, he was a manipulative, whining jackass. I hated how the writers always brush over all his terrible actions and acted like he was awesome, ew.

My favorite was Clay. I really loved and connected with his storylines of racial/family identity.

I actually disliked Spencer for some reasons people mentioned. She felt too perfect for me, almost mary-sue ifish.

Favorite(s):

Spashley. Spencer because she was too cute, nice, and sincere. Ashley because I loved her spunky attitude and loved when she was vulnerable.

Clay: Best brother ever! Sorry Glen. lol

Arthur: Best Dad ever!

Least Favorite(s):

Aidan: I had a love hate relationship with Aidan. I loved his back-story with Ashley and love his friendship with Ashley as well. Those two will always have a bond. But I absolutely hated how he whined all the time. Ugh.

Kyla: She irritated me from day one. And when I finally started to like her when she and Ashley started to get along, she became an idiot in season 3. lol
