They make a few jokes implying it throughout the series, but then in the episode where Christine and Barb want to smoke that joint they found, Matthew gets offended that they assumed he would have access to weed. So which is it?
shareIt was never explicitly implied that Matthew is a pot head, though due to his appearance and lifestyle, most people would probably surmise so. I am 34 and have never done any kind of drugs at all in my life, I am around marijuana smoke quite often though. I just so happen to have sleepy eyes and they are almost always red due to my almost never sleeping, so people always think that I smoke.
shareI might be wrong...but I remember some episode where he was watching an old video of himself from high school where he was talking about what he thought his future would be like. Then it showed current day Matthew sitting on the couch, realizing he never really did much with his life and he said something along the lines of "I shouldn't have done so much pot" or something like that. I don't know if he just meant in the past though or what.
