"Black friend" as described by Christine herself, co-owner of the gym with Christine and wife so that she does not get deported back to Bahamas where she is from.
Richard and Matt have a good rapport and regularly hang out. They move in together in the final season.
Glad the repeats are getting people into the show, that is how I discovered it. Enjoy the show!

Sometimes I get scared to ask a simple seeming question on older shows boards if I'm new to the show or randomly see an ep. because hard-core fans can sometimes get a little sarcastic or rude, saying stuff like, "Gee, isn't it obvious?!" or stuff like that- so I really appreciate your response. I didn't even think I would get a reply so that was nice! :)

Not a problem. Everybody is new to something at some point and has to start from scratch. It is totally unwarranted to chastise an individual because at some point, that person had to seek out the same information that you are currently trying to acquire. Some places on the internet are just as bad as the comments section on Youtube.

Christine, Barb (Sykes) and Richard all met in college. There are some great episodes that play on their past. "My Big Fat Sober Wedding" is one of those. As many times as I've seen it, it still cracks me up. Enjoy!

When they praise Barb's singing and she actually sings and Christine's brother asks/figures out they only hear her when they're all drunk,..
And they use an actual song (most of us YOUNG drunk) people (especially) WOMEN Loved from back then,..."Time After Time" great, great,..episode.
